Rarity Upgrade

The Rarity Upgrade system allows you to add attributes to items that don't have any, or enhance those that already do. Attributes are generated randomly, and an item can have a maximum of 4 attributes, reaching the Legendary status.

You can check all possible attributes by item type in the Rarity Guide tab.

How does it work?

Orbs are extracted from items with attributes using an Orb Extractor.

The Orb Extractor can be dropped by creatures, purchased from an NPC, or acquired in the Game Store.

Orbs are divided into tiers (1 to 4) and can only be used on items of the same tier.

When applying an Orb to an item, there is a chance of success, failure, and a small chance of breaking the item and losing it.

The rarer the item, the lower the success rate and the higher the risk of breaking it.

For each upgrade attempt, your character must have the following amount of gold in the main backpack:

You can exchange lower-tier orbs for higher-tier orbs at the NPC Varnak in Ab'Dendriel. These are the required quantities of orbs for the exchange:

100 Faintlight Orbs (Tier 1) → 1 Tidebound Orb (Tier 2)
30 Tidebound Orbs (Tier 2) → 1 Netherbound Orb (Tier 3)
10 Netherbound Orbs (Tier 3) → 1 Blazefury Orb (Tier 4)

Upgrade Process and Chances

Applying an Orb

You must go to the Forge, located in the Market Area, which can be accessed through teleports in the Depot of every city.

Each time you use an Orb on an item, you gain Rarity Level experience, which works like a skill progression system.

The total experience values and the success or failure chances are displayed when placing an item and an Orb in the Forge.

A specific Rarity Level is required to use higher-tier Orbs:

Tier 1 → Level 0
Tier 2 → Level 20
Tier 3 → Level 40
Tier 4 → Level 60

Higher-tier Orbs grant more Rarity Level experience.

As your level increase, your upgrade success rate increases and the chance of breaking an item decreases.

Once you reach a certain Rarity Level, lower-tier Orbs will no longer grant experience. The system is capped at level 100.

In the Ranking tab, players can view who is online and send messages to negotiate Orb usage.

Extractors are used to remove Orbs from enchanted items. They are essential tools in the rarity upgrade system.

This orb protects your equipment so that it does not break during rarity application.

Tier 1 → 1K
Tier 2 → 20K
Tier 3 → 50K

This orb removes all attributes from an item. Its intended use is for items that can only be obtained once, and to remake them with different rarity attributes than the player previously obtained.
